Sonya Hallett Illustration

I'm an illustrator, designer and maker based in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I'm especially interested in science and natural history, so a lot of my work is focused on science communication and education about the natural world.  I also draw on a lot of themes from my childhood, which I spent living between Beijing and London.

 

I have worked on a number of childrens books, and have also worked as a graphic designer with the Natural History Museum in London, and ProjectScotland in Edinburgh.  I am also a member of the Edinburgh League of Comics.
